All career coaching session are one-to-one and can be offered face-to-face or via email or phone; before the session we will ask you to fill in a career development form; the information you supply here allows your adviser to tailor a bespoke session to ensure that you get the advice and guidance that you need. We will help you to prioritise the possible actions you could take and make decisions about your future career plans. We will encourage you to think about how you could make more of an impact within your organisation and industry.
Career Independence Coaching
Thinking about working for yourself?
Career Independence Coaching will enable you to articulate and discuss your ideas about going freelance or setting up your own business. We will make it possible for you to think in a structured way about your plans and your ability to pursue them. We will help you to work out what you need in order to succeed and to think about how you fill any gaps in your knowledge or skills.
Career Re-entry Coaching
Thinking about returning to the job market?
Career Re-entry Coaching will enable you to take stock of your career priorities. We will assist you in reviewing your skills and deciding whether they are appropriate for the current job market. We will help you to think about how to get up to speed, boost your confidence and take appropriate steps that make a successful return more probable.
Career Transformation Coaching
Thinking about changing industry/role?
Career Transformation Coaching will enable you to evaluate your current position and decide what action you need to take about your career. We will help you to explore alternative options and assess the practicality of making a move. We will work with you to focus on activities and attitudes that make your chances of a successful transition more likely.
Partnership programme (4 x 1-hour sessions)
This package gives you the chance to explore in depth the careers options available to you. Only available following a discussion with the C2 team.
Thinking about downshifting?
Pre-retirement Coaching will enable you to evaluate the important factors to consider in your retirement and avoid the common pitfalls. You may want to find ways to use your experience to give something back to society, or you may just want a supplementary income to maintain a comfortable lifestyle. We will help you to investigate appropriate options and think about how to build new social networks — even a new non-work identity.
Redundancy Risk Coaching
Thinking you might be at risk?
Redundancy Risk Coaching will enable you to cope better with the uncertainty by helping you to take more control of your career choices. We will help you to think about the questions you need to ask to get a better idea of the risk levels. If you want to stay, we will help you to think about tactics that make you appear more indispensible. If you want to leave we will help you to think about the research and preparation that you need to do to make things happen more smoothly.
